My experience with Tim and Pedr from Arborist Halifax was nothing short of amazing. From my initial phone call to him showing up for an estimate was fast , actually 15 minutes because I caught him at a perfect time. We talked about my tree and we also discussed another tree that I also wanted to get taken down. We then discussed pricing for one and then a price for both. I opted to go with two being removed for what I thought was a very reasonable price as compared to other arborists quotes. So, if you're reading this you can obviously tell I hired him. We booked a date, and also an alternate date in case of bad weather but the original date occurred. He came early and they started. He explained the process started to finish. They were able to finish the job early which was great given one of the trees was quite big and over 65ft tall. They were very professional , punctual(actually early), very friendly and exceptionally clean with their clean up. They were very respectful to my neighbour ensuring they were aware of the work going on next door. He didn't have to do that but Tim did. That's the kind of person he is. If I had more trees to cut, trim or remove I would definitely call him. I asked for some business cards to pass on to my friends. This is the second season that Tim and his crew have been out to trim a large unruly hedge on our property. Tim and team are courteous, professional and extremely capable. Tim is very much focused on customer satisfaction constantly exceeding my expectations. Their work and attention to detail is impeccable. I had 3 large trees (1 massive pine) and another pine tree that was in need of trimming from between power lines. They arrived on time worked hard, took down the 3 trees safely and professionally and pruned back the pine from the power lines. I watched as every single piece of tree came down safely under control and exactly where they wanted it to. The site was left cleaned beyond expectations. I heard a tree creaking ominously at 4pm on Friday, put a request for quotation in and had a response within half an hour. Tim came on Saturday and assessed the tree as needing to be removed quickly. He then came on Monday and took the tree down without damaging anything else in the fairly cramped space, then chipped the branches and cut up the logs. Highly recommended. Tim answered our initial request for a quote almost immediately, and performed an on-site evaluation within a couple of days.  This is very rare. They came within the week, and removed a very large awkward multi-limbed pine which was boxed in on three sides between two houses and a power line. Everything was done safely, efficiently, and quickly, including clean-up. They chipped much of the tree, and deposited the mulch in different areas so that we didn't have to.
